He is well-connected with Concord’s history and he has fond memories of his years as a member of the Form of 1954. His recollections of Concord were a great joy to the group.

Sullivan’s background is noteworthy. He was born in Ireland and was the son of John Sullivan, who served as a schoolmaster and chambers clerk for Samuel Livermore. After coming to the United States, Sullivan established a successful school in Durham and a prosperous business. In 1774, John Adams estimated that the Sullivan estate was worth PS10,000. He is remembered as one of the founders of the Concord Country Club, as he was one of the first members of the club.

He is a member of the Texas bar
